Welcome to the Services Club Ballymena

At the heart of Ballymena's community lies a cherished institution: the Services Club. Established in the aftermath of World War II, our club has been a beacon of camaraderie, support, and social engagement for veterans, serving personnel, and their families for over half a century.

History of the club

Founding: The Services Club was founded in Ballymena in the aftermath of World War II. Many returning soldiers and veterans sought camaraderie and support networks upon their return home. The club served as a place where they could gather, share experiences, and find support.

Social Hub: Over the years, the Services Club became a prominent social hub within the community. It offered various amenities and activities for its members, including bars, dining facilities, recreational activities, and events. It played a significant role in fostering a sense of community among veterans and their families.
